While the article is interesting, Mr. Smith's biography is far more fascinating. It's quite inspiring to read about what a determined individual can acheive.

Fascinating article. Getting out of the "pixel == square" mindsight really helps when doing anti-aliasing or shading by hand. Not that I'm that great at either :)
